This SEO firm is hosting a Valentine’s Day dance for Baltimore singles

Danny BenDebba is moving forward. On Valentine’s Day, however, the company he runs and CityFam will take an evening to turn back the clock.

BenDebba, the CEO of Towson-based DAASN, said the SEO firm he runs has a lot of growth to report. The company added six people over the past six months. One is CTO Brad Bullard, who enabled the company to begin working on app and custom development projects. The company is also working on a pivot toward the Internet of Things, and is looking to launch a new division in March.
But on Saturday night, all of the hurtling into the bold future will take a pause.
DAASN is co-sponsoring an old-fashioned Valentine’s Day dance. It’s called Enchantment Under the Sea — and they aren’t trying to disguise the “Back to the Future” references.

DeLoreans will set their course for the Baltimore Soundstage, which will be decorated like Hill Valley High in 1955. You don’t necessarily need a date, as singles will have the run of the place for the first two hours.
BenDebba said it’s an effort to get people to meet face-to-face in the age of online dating. In true targeting fashion, the organizers are running ads to people in the region in an attempt to reach “Quality Singles,” and invitations have already gone out. The event is for people over-30 only.
Once everyone is paired off, the dance is open to all comers. Amid the Hawaiian fusion buffet and live music from SuckerPunch, we would just advise to be careful not to do anything that would alter the future (too much).
