The Technical.ly team is hoping that you’re all as hype to officially kickoff #PTW16 as we are. Too bad we have to wait one more day.
If you haven’t heard, Arcade @ Dilworth is postponed until tomorrow, Saturday, April 30.
For the fifth year in a row Mother Nature is deciding not to be our friend. You are all still our friends, though, and we can’t wait to see you.
Here’s what to expect at the kickoff tomorrow:
Refreshments
- Pay-as-you-go food & drink provided by Rosa Blanca Cafe (Cuban sandwiches, empanadas, salads, wine/beer, etc.) and Philly Pop Kettle Korn (chicken fingers, hamburgers, hot dogs, french fries, soft pretzels, funnel cakes, etc.)
Live Performances
- 5:00-7:30 p.m.: Pixel8ter will be performing unique cover songs, original music and DJing with the Hypepad — a video-game dance pad that lets the crowd help remix the music.
- 7:30-10:00 p.m.: Dj CUTMAN is a nationally touring performer who specializes in chiptune and video-game music. He runs the world’s largest record label for licensed video game remixes, GameChops.
