We are living through something extraordinary. Something that is challenging all of us in ways we never could have anticipated. And it is admittedly scary.

So we want to pause for a moment to say thank you for what you are doing — for staying at home, for donating supplies, for serving on the front lines, and for building companies that can change lives.

Our job is to grow local communities by connecting organizations and people through news, events and services. Especially during this challenging time, where distancing is the focus, finding authentic ways to connect is our priority.

To that end, we have enhanced our original town hall plans. The Philly Tech Week 2020 Virtual Town Hall will now feature an interactive Slack chat and Google Hangouts livestream with Technically Media CEO Chris Wink, and the entire Philly Tech Week 2020 presented by Comcast organizing team.

This virtual town hall will be held on Monday, April 6, from 2 to 3 p.m. The goal is to bring together our friends and partners and provide an inclusive experience that rings true to our founding principles of being responsible, responsive and transparent. At the event, we will:

  • Announce new dates for the rescheduled PTW20
  • Discuss what details are still in progress
  • Answer questions, address concerns and offer support
  • Share news about innovative ways we plan to serve you, our community, throughout the year

Our conversation will be recorded and posted on Technical.ly after the event.

Please share information about this event with your peers, network, friends and more. PTW has always been about community and inclusiveness. We want as many people as interested to be able to join us. You can use #PTW20 in your shares.

Despite these uncertain times, this we remain sure of: our commitment to serving our community to the best of our ability will never falter. We will get through this together, and come out of it stronger.

#PTW20 has evolved. We look forward to sharing this with you.
