These 20 Impact Award winners will be honored at the 2021 Millennial Summit

The honorees represent sectors from education to environmental technology to the arts.

Twenty young leaders in Delaware have been named as winners of the 2021 Impact Award by the Millennial Summit planning committee and Delaware Awards subcommittee.

The honorees, representing sectors from education to environmental technology to the arts, are:

Two of the winners, Jeff Benson and Amy Stengel, will be speaking at the fifth annual #MILLSUMMIT, which will be held virtually from Monday, Aug. 2, through Wednesday, Aug. 4. Benson, the director of DSU’s Black Male Initiative, will be a panelist on “JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) Be the Force – Conversations About Race” on Monday, while Stengel will moderate the workshop “Sharpen up Your Soft Skills” on Tuesday.

Check out the full schedule, including keynotes from country music star Jimmie Allen, nonprofit leader and writer Vu Le and serial entrepreneur Matt Higgins. The #MILLSUMMIT describes itself as “a one-of-a-kind, interdisciplinary conference for young professionals, rising stars, innovators, and industry leaders to connect and grow.” The annual event was originally geared toward young professionals, but it’s open to professionals of all ages, historically drawing an audience ages 18 to 60.
