What does professional growth look like for you? How do prepare yourself for the next stage of your career? What do you need from your workplace to feel both supported and challenged so you’ll stay for the long haul?
This June at Technical.ly, we’re exploring how local technologists and innovation pros are advancing their careers as part of Career Trajectory Month within our 2019 editorial calendar. That means we’re publishing a bunch of stories on professional development programs, skills-building strategies, retention best practices and the like. Another way of thinking about it: How to Level Up Month.
Follow the series soon here. Beyond following along as a reader, there are two ways to get involved with Career Trajectory Month:
- The traditional reporting route — Pitch your story ideas about career trajectories and related topics to our editorial team. We’ll vet suggestions for their newsworthiness, as we always do, and if we agree that your company’s practices/programming/people are unique and interesting, you’ll be connected to a reporter to talk further.
- The sponsored content route — We’re also offering the opportunity for companies to be featured in sponsored articles highlighting their work in this area; see some past examples of theme-specific sponsored content here, here and here. This content type is paid for by your company; note that our sponsored articles are always labeled as such and are written by a team separate from our regular reporters.
