Meet Aol
Aol is an online service provider that became famous around the turn of the millennium for its email and instant messaging services. It was acquired in 2015 by Verizon, which then sold it and Yahoo to the private equity firm Apollo Capital Management in 2021. Later that year, it became part of the new Yahoo! Inc.
