Wilmington’s Central Business District is actually pretty dang safe

According to new analysis from JLL, at least.

Global real estate company Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) has determined that Wilmington’s Central Business District is one of the safer parts of the city, despite bad press about the dangers of the district.
Based on data from the 2014 Total Crime Index, JLL reports that the city’s CBD experiences “14 percent less crime than the citywide average and 46 percent less crime than the highest scoring census tracts in the city.”
The report also comes with a nifty visualization.
