We’ve seen tech communities from D.C. and Philly bring contingents to SXSW. Next week, there’s a chance for Baltimore’s edtech community to get together and start thinking about the massive Austin event’s education-focused conference.
SXSWedu is hosting a meetup at Betamore to talk education innovation, and what SXSW is looking for when it comes to panelists.

The July 6 event is a chance to learn more about SXSWedu’s PanelPicker process, which opened up for entries on Tuesday. Potential speakers can submit a proposal, and organizers provide a chance for the public to vote on the proposed sessions.
Along with talk about next year’s SXSWedu, Allovue founder Jess Gartner will also give a talk titled, “White Rabbit Moments: On Startups and Magic.”
The Emerging Technology Centers and TU Incubator are also partners on the event.
