Sarge Salman, co-organizer of TEDxBaltimore 2013 in January, well as the founder of the Baltimore Lean Startup Meetup, has been named program manager for the new Howard County accelerator program.
As Technically Baltimore reported, the Accelerator of Commercial Technology (which we’ve also seen called, as we originally did, the Accelerator for the Commercialization of Technology) is a partnership between the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory and the Howard County Economic Development Authority.
The new accelerator will be housed inside the Maryland Center for Entrepreneurship, where Startup Maryland co-chair Julie Lenzer Kirk serves as executive director.
The goal of the accelerator will be to bring to market the technologies developed at the Applied Physics Laboratory.
