Major construction on the I-95 Corridor through Delaware is set to start in February, impacting Wilmington-area residents and commuters. The Restore the Corridor project will aim to repair of 19 bridges, I-95 pavement and several ramps.

Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) is offering an opportunity to learn more about the I-95 project. A presentation will be given at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 28, followed by Q&A.

At this virtual public meeting, you’ll learn about:

  • Timing of construction
  • Lane and ramp closures
  • Incident management plan
  • Commuting solutions
  • How to stay up to date

You can log in to the event here, though you’ll need to download Webex first.

You can also keep track of the project and where the project is impacting traffic on the DelDOT app — which also comes in handy when it snows and you want to follow which roads are being plowed.
