Re-introducing Lauren Ancona’s residential permit parking map: the city data scientist updated her map, launched a year ago, to include block-by-block information.
Use it to see what blocks (down to the detail level of left or right side) for which you need a parking permit to park.
Use it
Ancona said the block-by-block detail was the most requested feature from commenters on Reddit and other users of the map. She used the recently released Philadelphia Parking Authority data to update the map.
This is part of Ancona’s mission to demystify parking regulations. Her bigger project is Parkadelphia, an app “that will let users search by location and see all regulations (meters, permits, etc.) for that block segment,” she wrote.
