It looks like a Baltimore City Councilman is going to introduce a new open data bill at Monday’s Council meeting.
Second District City Councilman Brandon Scott posted a draft of the bill over the weekend.

The bill calls for an open data program to be established within city government. The bill would lay out responsibilities under the purview of the city’s Chief Data Officer, which is currently Heather Hudson.
Provisions include maintenance of the OpenBaltimore portal, working with a specific data coordinator from each city agency and a required annual report on open data.
We’ll have more as details become available.
