Since taking office in 2017, U.S. Rep. Lisa Blunt Rochester (D-Del.) has held several Telephone Town Hall Meetings, including one on gun reform in February. This month, she’ll be holding another one on May 21 at 7:00 p.m., to discuss issues before congress and take questions.
If you’ve never done a Telephone Town Hall Meeting, it works like this:
- Sign up for the meeting here.
- Answer the phone when it rings at 7 p.m. on May 21.
That’s pretty much it. You can have your voice heard from wherever you are in Delaware (or outside of Delaware, if you have a Delaware phone number and address).
Some of the tech issues presented to the House this month include cybersecurity, blockchain technology and the Innovators to Entrepreneurs Act of 2018. Click here for a schedule of legislative activity.
