Head-mounted police cameras being considered by Baltimore police

Some police in Maryland have found head-mounted cameras indispensable to their jobs, and the technology could be coming to the Baltimore police department next.
In Laurel, Md., in Prince George’s County, the police department began using cameras last year. Each of the head-mounted units costs $2,000. Baltimore city might be using a similar camera system next, despite concerns from such groups as the American Civil Liberties Union about head-mounted police cameras being used as a form of everyday surveillance.
The Baltimore Sun reports:

But the new technology — now under consideration by the Baltimore Police Department and theMaryland State Police — has also proved difficult to reconcile with concerns about privacy and consent.
