Blogger lists Delaware lawmakers who’ve taken money from the gun lobby

As outrage toward gun policy grows, that $100 donation could come back to bite you.

The political bloggers at Delaware Liberal want accepting donations from the gun lobby to be as scandalous as sexual misconduct — especially for First State Democrats.

The blogger known as Alby is taking no prisoners:

You received a $100 donation from the Delaware Foundation for Legislative Action (a PAC run by the Delaware State Sportsmen’s Association)? You’re on the list.

You accepted funds from the NRA Political Victory Fund? You’re on the list, and if you have a “D” after your name, you’re at the top of that list.

Most of the donations are under $500, arguably not large enough to be truly scandalous. But as the gun reform movement finally grows strong enough to make an impact — thanks to teenage activists across the country in the wake of the Parkland shooting in Florida — it’s relevant information. And the names are more than a little influential, including Delaware Speaker of the House Peter Schwartzkopf and Lt. Gov. Bethany Hall-Long.

The information in the list is public, culled from the Department of Elections website and other sources.
