Dear UD, it looks like Biden has chosen UPenn

We're sad too.

Our ice-cream loving vice president has made quite a few public appearances in the First State as of late. We had hoped he would set up shop at a local university, such as University of Delaware, since it is his alma mater.
A video surfaced yesterday with VP Joe Biden talking about his plans after the White House. “I’m gonna be based out of Penn for foreign policy,” he said on a hot mic at the United States Senate ceremonial swearing in at the U.S. Capitol’s Old Senate Chamber. Which leads us to believe that he will be based out of the international relations program at University of Pennsylvania.
We contacted UPenn’s media relations office but they didn’t have much to say. “The university currently declines to comment” was vice president of communications Stephen MacCarthy’s response.
Even though he might be in Philly, at least we know that Biden is still a proud Delawarean and we hope to see him around the First State engaging in his chilling habit as well.
