BaltimoreCode.org, now in beta, is the site for people interested in perusing the Baltimore City Charter in an easy-to-read format.
Instead of one long PDF document, the city charter is now broken down by article into XML form. It’s created by the OpenGov Foundation, the same group (cofounded by California Congressman Darrell Issa) that brought us Maryland’s state code in XML format via MarylandCode.org.
BaltimoreCode.org was one of 10 projects created during the recent Hack for Change civic hackathon.

BaltimoreCode.org is another website using The State Decoded, an open-source software platform and API to display states’ law codes. The free platform was originally developed in 2010 thanks to a grant from the Knight Foundation.
