4th annual Data Day at University of Baltimore this Friday [Events]

New this year: a Data Day hackathon, running concurrently throughout the day, where civic-minded technologists will use Vital Signs data from BNIA to produce apps, maps and other tech tools.

Another Columbia TechBreakfast takes place Wednesday morning. On Thursday evening, join the Tech & Social Change Meetup for a session on how nonprofits can better use social media to find new donors and attract new supporters.
On Friday, it’s the fourth annual Data Day at the University of Baltimore, where the Baltimore Neighborhood Indicators Alliance (BNIA) and others will lead sessions on accessing community statistical data. New this year: a Data Day hackathon, running concurrently throughout the day, where civic-minded technologists will use Vital Signs data from BNIA to produce apps, maps and other tech tools for community leaders and nonprofits.

Tech & Social Change Meetup: Learn 25 strategies to help your nonprofit improve its online relationships, reach out to new constituents and raise more money. Baltimore Data Day: Back for its fourth year, Data Day provides community leaders the opportunity to analyze community statistical information — on crime, education, sanitation and more — collected by the Baltimore Neighborhood Indicators Alliance. The daylong event features several workshops that will instruct attendees in finding and accessing BNIA data. Friday, July 12, 8:30 a.m. University of Baltimore, Thumel Business Center, 11 W.
