Conventional wisdom says that 2012 has been a breakout year for Baltimore city’s tech community. Of course, opinions differ on how well said community is performing.
One measure of the tech community’s growth in the last year? Pizza.

In 2012, local techies ate 3,288 slices of pizza, compared to 1,792 slices consumed last year. Or, at least, at Meetup events that web and mobile development shop SmartLogic has sponsored in the last year, more than 3,000 slices of pizza have been eaten.
