Violet M. Apple is the Chief Executive Officer of Girl Scouts of Central Maryland (GSCM), a council of the Girl Scouts of the USA, that serves girls in Baltimore City, Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford, and Howard Counties. She leads the preeminent leadership development organization for girls based on time-tested methods and research-backed programming that help girls take the lead in their own lives and in the world, all GSCM programming centers around science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), the outdoors, development of life skills, and entrepreneurship.
