Shanise Barona

Shanise Barona is a freelance web developer with an eye for design and a passion for building more inclusive tech communities. She is Program Coordinator at Girl Develop It, a nonprofit that exists to provide affordable and judgment-free opportunities for women interested in learning web and software development, and a co-organizer of Ela Conf, a safe, inclusive tech leadership conference and community for adult (18+) women (cis and trans), trans men and genderqueer people. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, working on a side project or tending to her houseplant collection.
