Coby Jones

Coby is the director of communications at Halcyon. She joins the team with eight years of experience in communications and storytelling and has managed a wide range of responsibilities such as writing op-eds, press releases, and media advisories, managing social media accounts, developing organizational key messaging, and developing communication strategies. Prior to Halcyon, Coby held positions with the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition, the Digital Impact Alliance at the United Nations Foundation, Women for Women International, and Vital Voices. Coby has traveled around the world to tell stories of impact including in countries such as the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. She holds a BA from Wheaton College – MA and a MSc from the London School of Economics. In her free time, Coby enjoys taking care of her many house plants, cooking vegetarian meals for her friends, and reading romance novels.
