Cal Ripken Jr. is baseball’s all-time “Iron Man,” having played in a world record 2,632 consecutive games during his 21-season Hall of Famer career with his hometown Baltimore Orioles. He was a 19-time American League All-Star and a two-time American League Most Valuable Player. Today, he is a business leader and philanthropist who cofounded the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation in 2001. He also established the youth baseball business, Ripken Baseball, which recently sold to youth sports powerhouse Unrivaled. In April of 2024, Ripken was invited to join the Baltimore Orioles ownership group led by David Rubenstein.
