PeopleLinx, the Center City firm that offers a LinkedIn engagement platform for businesses, raised a $3.2 million series A round from angel investors and investment firms Bala Cynwyd-based Osage Venture Partners, New York-based Greycroft Partners and Center City-based Mission Operators Group, it announced yesterday.
The money will be used to further build out its software product — billed as a data heavy tool for using the professional network site — rather than staffing or direct sales efforts.
The company, founded in 2009 by early employees of LinkedIn, prioritized finding funders that could offer more than just capital, but guidance, too, according to a blog post. (This is one of Mission Operators Group’s stated missions — to offer “human capital” as well as financial capital — read more about it here.)
PeopleLinx also relocated to a new office in the same building at 1835 Market Street to accommodate growth, said spokesman Bill Conn. The company currently employs 13. Check out photos of the new space below. Read a Q&A with PeopleLinx cofounder Nathan Egan here.
