Holiday shopping? The cofounders of new ecommerce site Orhea say: forget things. Buy your buddy an acupuncture session or a crossfit membership, and support local businesses while you’re at it.

Orhea, named for the Greek goddess of heath, offers deals on services from local health and wellness providers in an effort to connect the businesses with consumers.

Visit Orhea here.

Launched last month, Orhea has about 100 Philly-region vendors on its site, including spas, yoga studios and heath food stores. Orhea’s team of six is led by cofounders Paul Tenberg and Eric Friedman, who are both in their 40s and immigrated to the area from Russia.  Tenberg lives in Voorhees, N.J. and got his MBA from Drexel University. Friedman lives in Huntington Valley, Pa. and founded Absolute Smile dental practice.

Orhea is headquartered in Oxford Circle in Northeast Philadelphia in the same location as one of Friedman’s dentist offices.
