YouthBuild Philadelphia is in the running to win up to $1 million, but it needs your help to get there.
The charter school that offers a second chance to high-school dropouts is the only Philly nonprofit out of 25 competing in this year’s American Giving Awards. If YouthBuild wins the money, it will use it to further its training programs that aim to help students get their high school diploma, go to college and enter the workforce.
Vote for YouthBuild here. Voting closes on Dec. 4.
Prizes range from $125,000 to $1 million and the charities with the most votes in their respective categories will win. YouthBuild is in the Youth Developer category.
