To encourage exploration of computer science, members of Congress sought apps developed by students from across the country.
Now, we have the winners of the Congressional App Challenge. Here are three Baltimore-area winners:
From MD-02, represented by Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger, North County High School’s Jackson Lim, Chase Stull, Joshua Wesley and Bianca Cea satisfied with Cravings.

Out of MD-04, currently represented by Rep. Donna Edwards, Uzoma Nwanna won with Manager.
And in the Baltimore-area territory represented by Rep. Elijah Cummings, Will Cervi, Rees Draminski, and Priyanka Kargupta dished up the win with Foodspin.
The winners will be invited to show off their apps to Congress in April at a reception called #HouseofCode, and their work be on display both in the Capitol and on the web. The Brooklyn area is also home to three winners of the competition as our sister site Technical.ly Brooklyn wrote here.
