UMBC announces cybersecurity class [Cybersecurity Roundup]

The University of Maryland, Baltimore County will offer an introductory cybersecurity course to students within the next two years, the Baltimore Business Journal reports. UMBC is developing the class with Kyushu University in Japan, according to the report.
Federal Hill-based RedOwl Analytics raised $4.6 million in its Series A funding round, as Technical.ly Baltimore reported. It was the first investment for TEDCO Capital Partners’ Veterans’ Opportunity Fund.
