Crowdfunding of the Week is a regular series highlighting the technology, creative and innovation crowdfunding campaigns in Baltimore that might be worth your support. This week’s project comes from Indiegogo. See other Crowdfundings of the Week here.
Howard County’s new incubator for “socially conscious” startups needs some funding help of its own.
The Conscious Venture Lab, which is accepting applications from startups through Dec. 18, is now raising $50,000 on Indiegogo to “renovate and furnish the Lab, provide state of the art technology for our entrepreneurs, create open online training courses that we can share with the community and allow us to engage corporate partners,” according to its crowdfunding campaign.

As of right now, the space inside the Maryland Center for Entrepreneurship where the Conscious Venture Lab will be housed is an empty room.
