Maryland cybersecurity company Light Point Security keeps climbing the ranks in the Wall Street Journal’s Startup of the Year competition. It’s now one of five startups remaining from a field of 24.
As Technical.ly Baltimore reported, Light Point was picked, along with 23 other startups, from more than 500 applicants. The cybersecurity startup is based out of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and makes browsing software to protect Internet users from malware attacks.
