The University of Maryland BioPark in West Baltimore, where a number of biotechnology startups are housed, is considering partnering with Bon Secours Hospital on community-focused projects around “housing, healthy food options and other basic community resources,” the Baltimore Business Journal reports.
The two organizations met earlier in August to discuss the possibility of working together on neighborhood projects, said Julie Mercer, Bon Secours’ vice president of philanthropy and fund development.
