BrooklynJS has built a tight-knit community by having really good presentations and really weird musical interludes which are frequently bolstered by their own PowerPoint presentations. It is a place where people can be themselves.
Tickets for this month’s celebration of JavaScript go on sale Friday at 10 a.m., and the presenters look promising (and pretty diverse)!
Here’s the lineup:
Jack Lukic: Let nothing come between U and I

Nick Hehr: Become Optimist Prime
Thus far, wearing my @brooklyn_js name tag on the subway hasn't lead to any new followers.

Rushaine McBean: Go from 0 to ES6 in 10 minutes
Everything's a fuckin' app.

Michael Hart: Let the serverless era begin
So many cool new AWS toys to play with and here I am on a plane to Paris. Sigh, baguettes fromage and rosé on the beach – you win this round

Sarah Ransohoff: Won’t you take me to… functiontown?
the spam folder is a dark, dark place
