University of Delaware’s Horn Entrepreneurship is offering at least two stipended summer internships to support undergraduate students who actively work to advance equity.
The Advancing Equity Thru Entrepreneurship Summer Internship Challenge for rising UD juniors, seniors and May 2021 graduates will select students who either have new project ideas for existing social justice organizations or who are interested in developing their own social ventures.
“The fastest way to advance social justice and achieve equality of opportunity is by cultivating and unleashing the full potential of mission-driven social innovators and entrepreneurs who are committed to this purpose,” states the program’s written commitment to advancing equity through entrepreneurship. “Horn Entrepreneurship created the Summer Internship Challenge to inspire interest in social innovation and leverage the power of our collective expertise, resources and networks to support aspiring world changers.”
Selected students will receive a $5,000 summer internship stipend, up to $1,000 in seed funding, and mentorship. Eligible UD students must apply by the March 22 deadline.
