Delaware Bio is launching its own coworking space on the AstraZeneca campus on Concord Pike, officially opening Oct. 10 at 11 a.m.
Called the BioDome, the space will be used by members of the life-sciences nonprofit for meetings, seminars, presentations, and as a work space.
The LEED-certified building isn’t a literal dome (sorry, Pauly Shore fans), but it is covered in windows top-to-bottom.
“Delaware Bio is all about providing value to our members,” said President and CEO Helen Stimson. “We host numerous events created to fuel professional development and forge meaningful relationships and collaborative partnerships. We also provide a unique variety of resources designed to enable our members’ success. We’re proud to be an integral part of Delaware’s growing science and technology industry, now and into the future.”
Gov. John Carney is scheduled to give the keynote at the BioDome’s grand opening on Oct. 10.
