If you haven’t deleted your Facebook account in response to the Cambridge Analytica scandal, here’s a productive way to put it to use: Attend a town hall meeting with Gov. John Carney and Sen. Tom Carper, the ranking member of the U.S. Senate Environment and Public Works Committee.
They will discuss proposed investments to preserve Delaware’s natural resources and other environmental efforts, including mitigating sea level rise and extreme weather events brought on by climate change.
The livestreamed event will give citizens the opportunity to ask questions in real time (you can also ask questions in advance by commenting on Facebook here, tweeting @JohnCarneyDE or emailing townhall@state.de.us).
The interactive town hall will be held here at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 28.
If you don’t have Facebook, you can still watch the livestream here.
