5 quick ways to make your local tech ecosystem better

1. Take the Technical.ly community survey.

What do you want to see and read from Technical.ly? How can we do a better job informing you about what’s happening in the tech economies of Baltimore, Philly, DC, Delaware and Pittsburgh, and in connecting you to other local technologists, entrepreneurs, company builders and the like? 2. Join our Slack.

In-person meetups may still be only slowly coming back, but we’ve got the place to stop and chat with others.

This summer, Technically Media (that’s Technical.ly’s parent company) moved all of its internal communication over to our public Slack, and we want you to join. It’s a place for conversation on everything from #dev to #goodreads, and you can catch AMA interviews with interesting folks like DEI pro Dr. Kristin Austin and Baltimore founder Dan Lee. (Coming up on Thursday, Aug. 26, reporters Holly Quinn and Paige Gross will lead a discussion with women-in-tech meetup organizers from across the mid-Atlantic.) It’s also where you can find solid networking amongst tech and business pros from Philly, Baltimore, DC, Delaware, Pittsburgh — and beyond.

3. Drop us a line.

It’s a community, so your voice matters. Subscribe to one of our market’s newsletters and respond to one of our daily messages, pitch a story to our reporters, write a guest post, or just tell us what you’ve been thinking about lately. (Caveat: You can do some of these things via DM … on our Slack! See above.)

4. Post a job/find a job.

Looking for software engineers, product leads, customer experiences specialists, DevOps managers, marketing directors?
