FreedomPay is leaving its Radnor HQ for a University City tower

Looks like Philly’s fintech corridor will be leaning a bit more toward University City come 2017: Radnor, Pa.-based Freedom Pay, provider of a digital payment platform for commerce, will be relocating its headquarters to the FMC Tower at Cira Centre South, a new property of the Brandywine Realty Trust.
As the Philadelphia Business Journal reports, 150 of the company’s employees will be moving to the new space, which spans 24,799 square feet.

“We have been a client of Brandywine for many years and have been tracking the FMC Tower project,” said CEO and founder Tom Durovsik in a press release. “Our decision to move into Philadelphia is a vote of confidence for the city itself and our desire to become an integral part of Philadelphia’s emerging tech presence.”
It’s yet another example of the trend of suburban companies moving to the city.
