Sarge Salman and the Baltimore Lean Startup Group have launched the Startup Prize, a six-week program kicking off in 2013 where startup founders will learn to validate their startup ideas with customers and compete for cash and prizes along the way. Sign up for updates here.
And remember: the Lean Startup Group meets tonight at the TowsonGlobal Incubator, and attendees will receive a 50 percent discount to the application fee required for the InvestMaryland Challenge.
PointClickSwitch.com has launched a new website featuring the Baltimore Ravens’ Torrey Smith. With PointClickSwitch, users are able to switch energy suppliers through a few steps online, thereby saving money on monthly energy bills in the process.
A little more than two weeks remain for startups wishing to apply to the AccelerateBaltimore program. Six startups chosen will each receive free space at the Emerging Technology Center and $25,000 in seed funding.
