It’s an odd couple for sure but very cool nonetheless: street artist Shepard Fairey (the guy behind Obey Giant and that famous Obama poster) and Android cofounder Rich Miner are coming to the Fillmore, the new Fishtown music venue, this Thursday.
“While artistic and technological creations have a long history of being jealously guarded, Fairey and Miner will discuss how and why they have made their intellectual property available to everyone,” the event description reads.
We have a discount code for $10 off. Sign up for our newsletter with the code “OBEY” in the Organization box and we’ll send it to you.
