If your business deals with customers in Europe, May 25 is a day you need to pay attention to.

It’s the day the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) goes into effect. While it will make things simpler by creating a single standard across all EU nations, there are also significant changes and new rights for EU citizens you need to know.

On Jan. 24, World Trade Center Delaware will host “Complying With The New European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation,” an informational session with Isabelle Roccia and Michelle Sylvester-Jose, both experts from the U.S. Foreign Commercial Service in Brussels.

Register

The panel will be held from 8–11:30 a.m. at Delaware Technology Park, 1 Innovation Way in Newark. Registration is $50 for members of the World Trade Center Delaware and $100 for non-members.
