Los Angeles-based law firm Latham & Watkins is organizing a free workshop for social entrepreneurs in D.C.
The event, co-sponsered by social impact investor Ashoka, will focus on the common legal headaches faced by mission-driven startups.
Law360 article on a similar clinic held last April detailed some of these habitual stumbling blocks:

Creating a nonprofit/for-profit hybrid structure, for example, or compliance and intellectual property issues for Internet-based projects.

Our sister site, Technical.ly Philly, recently looked at some of the common challenges faced by impact investors.
This year, the clinic will be held Sept. 15 at 9:30 a.m. at Latham & Watkins’ downtown D.C. offices.
Apply by Aug. 17
