As of yesterday, Delawareans can purchase special $10 one-day SEPTA passes into Philadelphia at the Wilmington Train Station for the papal visit Sept. 26-27.
Wilmington is one of 19 regional rail stations to receive express service for Pope Francis’ Philly visit. The city is expecting an influx of over 1 million visitors.
Urbanists, take note: If regional rail riders want higher train frequency between Wilmington and Philadelphia, just get the pope to come through for a weekend.
