What’s it like to live a day in the life of Gov. Jack Markell?
If the boasts of nearly every Delawarean who claims to have his personal number in their cellphone are true, it would only make sense that whenever he’s not signing bills into law, Markell is spending the majority of the day giving out his cell number to strangers.
Now, thanks to this “Civilization” mod (available for download on Steam) gamers up and down the First State can find out for themselves.
A description of the mod, as laid out by Steam user and mod creator Sam:
In this mod, you play as Jack Markell, the Governor of Delaware State. The First State, as it’s known, is usually the last state on anybody’s mind. However, you have the power to change all that. Like Alexander of Macedonia, you have the power to rise from the ashes of mediocrity, to crush the world under your humble home state. Live up to the nickname, “The First State.”
So go, all ye virtual Alexander the Greats of Delaware, and make a name for your homeland.
