On Friday, March 13, 2020, many of us packed up a few items from our offices and prepared to work from home for a few weeks while the region got a handle on a new, dangerous virus circulating the globe.

A year later, most of us haven’t been back since.

COVID-19 has drastically changed the way Philadelphians live and work, and as we pass the one-year mark of official lockdown in the region this week, we want to hear what it’s been like for you. What do you recall about your last days in the office? How has this last year changed the way you think about how we work? What is work?

Some folks left the office not knowing it would be the last time for a while.

Others had huge, in-person meetings that seem hard to fathom now.

The University City Science Center actually held a “practice” WFH day to give employees a chance to try it out in case they needed to go remote for real.

So tell us, for a future Technical.ly story, what were those last days like? What has this pandemic changed for you? Do you think you’ll step foot in your office this year?
