Prominent coding bootcamp program The Flatiron School is hosting a demo day on Thursday, Jan. 24, to showcase final projects from its graduating software engineers.  Attendees can expect to mingle, and see what the graduates have been working on– including a detailed look at the apps they’ve built as their final projects.

There will be Flatiron team members on deck to discuss course offerings for software engineering and data science, plus you can get a tour of the campus. The event is free and will be held at the Flatiron School D.C. campus located at 1440 G Street Northwest.

Can’t make it to demo day to tour campus? No problem, The Flatiron School is hosting a campus tour on Monday, Jan. 14, at 5 p.m. It doesn’t stop there. Flatiron is also hosting a workshop to practice for technical interviews on Wednesday, Jan. 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. and a coding workshop for beginners on Saturday, Jan. 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All events will be held at the Flatiron D.C. campus.

1 Million Cups DC

Goodfynd cofounders and Virginia Tech grads will be presenting at this month’s 1 Million Cups, an event series looking to help entrepreneurs solve problems that debuted last summer. The event was previously held at 1776 DC but since its temporary closing, 1 Million Cups has moved to a WeWork location.
