who’s getting funded?
Cerecor Inc., based in Canton, has raised $6.8 million in equity, according to SEC filings. The biopharmaceutical company “focused on the discovery, development and commercialization of prescription pharmaceuticals whose primary activity is in the human brain,” according to its website.
OpenPage Labs, software startup based in Butcher’s Hill, has raised $20,000 in debt, according to SEC filings.
who’s making moves?
Reify Health, based out of incubator and coworking space Betamore in Federal Hill, is hiring a software developer and a customer deployment manager. Alchemy, an edtech startup based in Hampden, has announced its two pilot schools testing its online lesson binder for teachers, including a school in China and the Boys’ Latin School of Maryland based in northern area of Baltimore’s Roland Park neighborhood.
