Meet the Startup Roundup. Every Wednesday morning, Technically Baltimore will put together the smaller pieces that make up our startup ecosystem.
Higher-ed startup StraighterLine will soon move out of its space on the East Campus of Johns Hopkins University, part of the Emerging Technology Center, and into a new, 6,000-square foot office, according to Bmore Media.
Potomac, Md.-based Seva Call will launch in Baltimore, according to citybizlist Baltimore. Seva Call helps consumers find qualified, local professionals, like accountants, plumbers, electricians and more.

IT consultants SITEC moved last month out of the incubator at UMBC’s Research and Technology Park and to an office in Anne Arundel County, according to Bmore Media.
Canton-based Little Red Wagon Technologies successfully completed a round of funding on July 9, raising $100,000. Little Red Wagon’s Pinecone product “securely and reliably delivers e-mail and data to a mobile user’s device without using a third-party network operating center.”
SocialToaster closed an oversubscribed Series A round of funding at the end of June, raising $2,001,836 of $1,975,000 originally sought. The social media company that enlists fans of businesses as “ambassadors”—people who willingly agree to automatically share news and content from their favorite brands, media outlets, and companies to their own networks of friends and followers on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and MySpace—raised an initial round of $530,000 in seed funding last year. According to the Baltimore Business Journal, the oversubscribed funding round will help SocialToaster expand to New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles and Detroit.
