Startup Breakfast + Workshop: Pillsbury Law

Come join us on Thursday, May 5th for our Startup Breakfast and Workshop. This month's workshop will be led by Steve Kaplan of Pillsbury Law.

Come join us on Thursday, May 5th at 9am at our usual spot, Langermann’s in Canton for our Startup Breakfast. Whether you’re a founder, investor, or partner, you’re invited to join our group for breakfast and discussion about startups in Baltimore.
Following breakfast, we’re holding a Workshop at 11am that will take place in the ETC Conference Room and will be led this month by Steve Kaplan, a senior associate with Pillsbury Law.
Pillsbury is a full-service law firm with market-leading strengths in the energy, financial services, real estate and technology sectors. They’re also a prominent resource in the Mid-Atlantic tech startup community, helping to organize and participate in numerous events and panels. Steve focuses primarily on corporate and transactional work for technology companies and has a lot of domain expertise in formation and growth of early-stage startups as well as M&A transactions.
At the workshop, Steve will be touching on the topics of business formation (LLC vs. Corporation) as well as managing IP, equity compensation and types of investments. Rather then lead a lecture, Steve has offered to open it up to Q&A as much as possible to provide for a more dynamic discussion.
You can register for our Startup Breakfast + Workshop below or by visiting the EventBrite page.
