14 companies have signed up for PSL Labs, according to coordinator Joel Frisch on the Philly Startup Leaders mailing list, and startups will start getting feedback this month. We reported on the launch of the beta testing program last month. Companies can still sign up on PSL Labs’ new website. Invite Media co-founders Nat Turner and Zachary Weinberg launched a website for their new New York City-based healthcare startup, Flatiron Health, Philly Tech News reports. Earlier this week, we reported on the other Invite Media alumni who are making noise with a startup called Vistar Media.
Uber, the private car service that launched in Philly last month, is releasing “Uber X,” TechCrunch reports. Uber X lets Uber partners send out all different kinds of cars. Uber X is currently being offered in San Francisco and New York. No word yet if Uber Philly is adopting the plan.

PublicStuff, the 2009 GoodCompany grad and the company that’s working on our city’s 3-1-1 city service app, won 1st place in the New Jersey Technology Council Mobile Applications Competition for using GPS to pinpoint the locations of city service requests, according to a press release.
Translation startup Palmling, which is at TechStars Boulder right now, changed its name to Verbalize It.
Collaborate Philly, a social networking site for creative-types, announces its July 27th launch party at the Philadelphia Mausoleum of Contemporary Art.
West Chester-based TalkFavorites.me, a rating site focused on specific items (best pizza or best coffee) rather than just restaurants or shops, got a shout on TechCrunch after its founders sought out TechCrunch writers at the mini meetup.
