StartUp PHL

StartUp PHL was a Philadelphia Department of Commerce initiative backed by the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation to use public money to match investment in Philadelphia’s innovation ecosystem. The organization’s initiatives offered rounds of grants to support Philly-based entrepreneurs and startups. First Round Capital initially managed the fund before PIDC tapped Ben Franklin Technology Partners to manage StartUp PHL’s second seed fund.
